I wrote the first version of Gmail in one day. It was not very impressive. All I did was stuff my own email into the Google Groups (Usenet) indexing engine. I sent it out to a few people for feedback, and they said that it was somewhat useful, but it would be better if it searched over their email instead of mine. That was version two. After I released that people started wanting the ability to respond to email as well. That was version three. That process went on for a couple of years inside of Google before we released to the world.(paulbuchheit.blogspot.com)
So what’s the right attitude? Humility. It doesn’t matter how smart and successful and qualified you are, you simply don’t know what you’re doing. The good news is that nobody else does either, though some are foolish enough to think that they do (and that’s why you can beat them).(paulbuchheit.blogspot.com)
Twelve Things I Love About You“中的第10条提到:
Self-Knowledge, and Knowledge of Others’ Capacities: Knowing which capacities you have, and which you lack, and what you know, and what you don’t, and what others can do better than you can, is enormously important to collaboration and love, especially in coping with challenges.

Jay Bennett
他说虚拟学校就像”a freight train, it is coming down the tracks and education best get on the train.”。
The new education must teach the individual how to classify and reclassify information, how to evaluate its veracity, how to change categories when necessary, how to move from the concrete to the abstract and back, how to look at problems from a new direction – how to teach himself. Tomorrow’s illiterate will not be the man who can’t read; he will be the man who has not learned how to learn.
Cindy Grabe
The kids who entered kindergarten this year will graduate in 2020.”。
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”——21世纪的文盲不是那些不会读书与写字的人,而是那些不会学习、忘却与再学习的人们。
Steve Goldberg
